If you have previously contacted support and implemented the temporary workaround you can remove the scheduled task that was added by the support engineer upon installing this fix. For this, follow these steps:
- Select Start > All Programs > Administrative Tools > Task Scheduler
- Select Task Scheduled Library, find the recently created scheduled task, usually named “Fax_SMTP_Fix” and disable it. After confirming that the hotfix is performing the desired actions, you can delete this task.
