Enabling multiple instances of Windows Server Essentials Experience in your environment
Hi Mike, great article. I get a lot of useful information! Even tough it's an old post and in the meanwhile microsoft change direction with WSE 2019 and removed essential role, I think WS2016/WSE2016 Essential Role is still a great Product. I've some question:
1. "The online service integration features only work when the server is a domain controller. Also, integration cannot be initiated if there are multiple domain controllers in the environment." . I have multiple domain controllers and integration work great, perhaps I deploy WSE+DC first and then the others DC. Is it Correct?
2. "The product team is investigating possible solutions." does it means that it is an unexpected behavior?
3. "The online service integration features only work when the server is a domain controller" the product team was investigating on this or this is mandatory?
Last but not least: Can I install Essential Role on two DCs? What happens if I try to enable integration on the 2 DCs?
