I did this, just a few weeks back and it worked fine, now I am getting the same error. :-(

we know about the behavior of migrations to e.g. v6 instances and we are working on a fix.

at the moment you can't convert a source VM (v3, v4, v5) with tempdisk ("d" in the name) to a v6 instance, only works for VMs without tempdisk.

    We have no temp disk on this setup. Actually the machine is of exactly the same spec (E4as_V5) as the one that succeded a couple of weeks ago. But we'll wait for a fix.

      what are the VM SKUs in use (source and destination SKU type)

        Source Standard_E4as_v5 (converted disk from Trusted launch to Standard before, just like I had to do the last time) destination Standard_E4as_v6.
