Reconnect Series: Richard Banks

This week we are thrilled to be joined by none other than eight-time MVP winner Richard Banks!
Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Richard has more than 25 years of experience helping people and teams solve complex problems and deliver great business outcomes.
He has a deep history in hands-on software development, infrastructure, solution architecture, training, and public speaking.
Combined with C-suite management, extensive agile delivery skills, and an empathetic, collaborative approach, Richard is passionate about fulfilling needs and solving problems via tech. He describes himself as a hands-on technical leader with deep experience in agility, scale, and the Microsoft tech stack.
In addition to his certifications as a Scrum Practitioner and Professional Scrum Developer Trainer, Richard runs the Sydney Alt.Net user group and (formerly) the Talking Shop Down Under podcast. Further, he owns and contributes to a few open-source projects and has spoken at Tech.Ed, Ignite, and several other events and user groups around Australia.
