The Microsoft AI Tour is a global event series bringing the latest AI innovations, tools, and best practices to developers, IT professionals, and business leaders. The Frankfurt edition featured deep-dive sessions on Copilot, AI agents, responsible AI, and enterprise-scale solutions—showcasing how AI can transform productivity and business outcomes. In this blog post, you’ll discover how MVPs experienced the AI Tour in Frankfurt, what they learned, and how they’re applying these insights in their work and communities. From supporting attendees onsite to leading advanced workshops, MVPs ensured participants left with actionable strategies to embrace AI.

The Microsoft AI Tour in Frankfurt wasn’t just a showcase of cutting-edge technology—it was a celebration of community, collaboration, and learning. At the heart of this experience were our MVPs, who brought their expertise, energy, and passion to the event. From helping attendees navigate sessions to sharing real-world insights, MVPs played a vital role in making the AI Tour unforgettable.

MVPs in Action

Our MVPs were everywhere—supporting at the Community Hub, engaging in technical discussions, and even leading workshops. Their contributions ensured that attendees left with practical knowledge and a deeper understanding of how AI can transform businesses.

Connecting with technical communities at the AI Tour in Frankfurt—MVPs leading the way in collaboration and learning.

What They Learned—and How They’re Applying It

The AI Tour wasn’t just about listening; it was about learning and applying. Here’s what stood out for our MVPs:

Alexander Wachtel: Microsoft AI Tour was not only a great opportunity to see Microsoft AI Services in action but also to network and see what other companies have already done with Microsoft AI to enable employees and customers to be more productive.
The talk ‘Industrial AI in Action’ showed that even big players like KRONES AG needed five Microsoft partners to run their AI project. Microsoft helped provide the right partner from their ecosystem to achieve the KRONES AG project goals.
Stay connected—because the network matters.

Bülent Altinsoy:Loved the Expo and workshops. The keynote storytelling was a masterpiece. I’m already sharing these insights internally to excite my team.”

Damir Dobric: “I had the honor of delivering a full-day workshop on AI Agents and the Model Context Protocol (MCP). 120 participants packed into the room – all coding live agents together. The vibe was agentic 😉! Together, we built an AI agent that talks directly to a relational database using PostgreSQL, Python, and LangChain.
The key takeaway? This pattern works beautifully across languages and databases. It was a genuine pleasure helping so many AI experts level up their agent-building skills. Huge thanks to everyone who attended and shared their experiences! Extra shout-out to my fellow MVPs, Regional Directors, and colleagues from the product groups always a joy to catch up and geek out in person.

Gregor Reimling: The new and fascinating possibilities that AI agents bring—and how rapidly AI has evolved—really stood out. Last year, we were talking about potential; this year, it’s all about real use cases and deployment scenarios.
Rick Claus’s session on Copilot for Azure and GitHub Copilot was inspiring, and I’ll incorporate these ideas into my own sessions and client meetings. We’re already evaluating these capabilities internally by deploying our own MCP servers across various systems.”

Moritz Goeke: “GenAI is everywhere now—the keynote and RAFT session showed how fast AI is evolving. AI will keep shaping every area going forward."

Robert Smit: The keynote was packed with insights—from Copilot and AI Foundry to Microsoft Sovereign Cloud. At the Cloud and AI platforms stand, I noticed many customers had questions about Azure governance. A strong foundation is key for all workloads. Whatever you’re building in Azure, start with MS Learn and basic training to gain confidence and clarity."

Tomislav Karafilov: Great AI needs great data. Whether we use Microsoft 365 Copilot or build agents with Copilot Studio, AI only helps when it has a solid data foundation. In my work as a consultant and Copilot/Agent enabler, I’m focusing on data quality and security to prepare customers for the future of AI.”

Looking Ahead

The Frankfurt AI Tour was more than an event—it was a catalyst for innovation. Our MVPs are now taking these learnings back to their communities, driving conversations, and inspiring others through blogs, workshops, and mentorship. Their impact will ripple far beyond Frankfurt.

  • Thank you for this fantastic recap of the Microsoft AI Tour in Frankfurt!
As an MVP, it was an honor to be part of such an inspiring event and connect with so many passionate professionals. The sessions on Copilot, AI Foundry, and AI Agents were packed with insights that I’m already applying in my projects.

One key takeaway for me: a strong Azure governance foundation is essential for any AI workload. Many conversations at the Cloud & AI platforms stand reinforced this point before deploying advanced AI solutions, organizations need clarity and confidence in their cloud architecture.

A big thank-you to the organizers and fellow MVPs for creating an environment where learning and collaboration thrive. Looking forward to continuing these discussions and helping customers embrace AI responsibly and effectively!
