Mixed Reality Link: November 2026 Release Notes

The latest updates to Mixed Reality Link and Windows App on Meta Quest deliver faster connections, easier recovery from interrupted pairing, and improved audio and app stability.

This is our 18th release of Mixed Reality Link this year. Here's what's new in each app:

Mixed Reality Link on PC

Version: 26.10270.1013.0

• More reliable connections when starting the app. We've fixed an issue that could prevent you from connecting to your PC immediately after opening Mixed Reality Link.
• Easier recovery from interrupted pairing. If your PC loses its network connection during pairing, both apps now leave the pairing flow instead of keeping you stuck on the PIN screen. Once your connection is restored, you can try again.
• Improved app stability. We've addressed rare problems that could cause Mixed Reality Link to crash or stop responding, including when disconnecting, reconnecting, or closing the app.
• Faster connections. We've reduced delays that could slow down the connection process on some PCs.
• More reliable sound and microphone access. We've fixed an issue that could prevent audio and microphone access through the headset when your PC had no other audio devices available.
• Better recovery when the app needs repair. Mixed Reality Link now attempts to repair certain problems that prevent it from opening, rather than repeatedly restarting.

Windows App on Meta Quest

Version: 10.0.19.2318

• Improved audio and microphone stability. We've improved reliability when audio or microphone streaming stops.
• More efficient communication with paired PCs. We've reduced unnecessary processing during repeated connection checks.
• More accurate PC status after re-pairing. We've fixed outdated connection-status updates that could appear after removing a PC and pairing it again.

These updates are rolling out this week to Mixed Reality Link on PC and Windows App on Meta Quest.
