Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps experiences are now part of Microsoft 365 Defender

At this stage, the role assignment management is available through the Defender for Cloud Apps standalone portal.

This experience will be converged soon to Microsoft 365 Defender to enable the unified admin experience.

The new Defender for Cloud Apps experience in the Microsoft 365 Defender portal is available for all roles that are currently eligible for the Defender for Cloud Apps standalone portal, except the app/instance admin; user group admin; cloud discovery global admin and cloud discovery reports admin; and user privacy groups. These roles will be supported in the future. Check out our documentation to learn more.
