Sending Proofpoint TAP logs to Azure Sentinel

I wanted to know if function app can be used with premium tier plan instead of consumption plan. I wanted to know if Sentinel can only be integrated with a function that runs on consumption plan. Because with consumption plan VNET integration is not possible. According to this it is not possible with consumption plan
