Data governance strategies are the most successful when we combine them with collaboration and productivity solutions. Together they allow organizations to do more with their content, especially as organizations store more business critical content in cloud applications such as Microsoft 365. Data governance works best when we take a holistic approach that spans rules and guidelines, technology, processes, and most importantly, but sometimes forgotten, culture.
