Why did your tech group lean more towards an apple pro design and do away with the removable screen from the book range?
I have been using this range for lectures for many years now, It’s strong hinges are a masterpiece, the fact you can leave most of the weight on the desk, yet still have your powerhouse at you fingertips is a joyous marvel.
I am just shocked that you would call this new powerhouse laptop the best, yet just because it has improved cpus etc… It comes in 1 size fits all lazy attitude and less ports.
I also have a surface studio 2 for home use as this computer for construction design management is outstanding.
The same as the book series for everyday out and about use.
As stated the removable screen with strong hinge/cradle design is a masterpiece.
I had problems with the surface pro series 1 it’s a pad, not a computer, plus I had to replace many keyboards as the design was to flimsy.
However the extra size screen on the book, again with the improved hinge design is perfect.
I understand you want a more apple pro hinge based look with a Microsoft twist. However, why remove one of its most luxurious qualities, could you not figure out how to implement this in the design?
If that is the case maybe make a surface book 4, I am sure your loyal customers would agree the reason they also chose the book series is because of these features.
