I concluded that these three credentials were the numbers for the three applied skills you mentioned on March 24, 2024:
one for canvas apps, one for Power Automate cloud flows, and one for model-driven apps
I searched through the various certifications listed on this page but did not find any reference to “APL-7001” or the others, nor any variations of it. I did find a page called “Create and manage canvas apps with Power Apps,” but it is not a current certification; the page reported it is undergoing maintenance. The same statement was on the page for model-driven apps. For each of these the “Take the assessment” part is incomplete, the “start” button is greyed-out and there is no certification number or name for either of them.
I did not find anything for cloud flows.
(BTW: I understand that things are created and things are retired, but it would seem to be a better workflow to not retire one certification until the replacement(s) are in-place and ready to be consumed, learned and taken. I would imagine that the exams will not be created/completed until these skills are actually published, and yet the PL-100 is being retired in just over two months)
QUESTION 1: Do you know if there is an expected completion of these applied skill sets and their certification exam(s)?
QUESTION 3: Will there actually be three independent certifications or will they be unified again?
QUESTION 2: What will the certification number(s) actually be? I'm guessing that APL-700 is an unlikely number and PL-700 is also unlikely.
Thank you,
Will B.
