Earn your wings with Microsoft Security Copilot Flight School

Building on the foundational learning in Learn Live: Get started with Microsoft Security Copilot, host Ryan Munsch, Principal Tech Specialist at Microsoft, explores several intermediate technical topics (Level 200+) in our Flight School videos, ranging from what Microsoft Security Copilot is (and isn’t) to key capabilities and experiences, along with how to extend Copilot across your organization.

Improve your cybersecurity skill set with new modules and learning paths

Get started with Microsoft Security Copilot in SC-200: Mitigate threats using Microsoft Security Copilot. In this new learning path, you’ll become familiar with basic terminology, learn how Copilot processes prompts, explore the elements of an effective prompt, and find out how to enable the solution. This learning path aligns with Exam SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst, which is required to earn the Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate Certification.

Demonstrate your security expertise with new Microsoft Applied Skills

Professionals focused on data security and threat protection can demonstrate their expertise by earning these new Microsoft Applied Skills:

  • Implement information protection and data loss prevention by using Microsoft Purview. Demonstrate your ability to implement Microsoft Purview Information Protection and DLP, and validate that you can discover, classify, and protect sensitive data in Microsoft 365, effectively implementing data security by using Microsoft Purview. This assessment is particularly relevant for information protection and compliance administrators, in addition to security operations analysts.
  • Implement retention, eDiscovery, and Communication Compliance in Microsoft Purview. Earn this Applied Skill by proving your ability to implement retention, eDiscovery, Communication Compliance, and content search in Microsoft Purview. This could be an especially good fit for compliance administrators who are familiar with Microsoft 365 services and Microsoft Purview and have experience administering compliance in Microsoft 365.

Stay current with our updated Azure Security Engineer Associate Certification

The Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate Certification, earned by passing Exam AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies, fulfills essential business and technical requirements by validating that professionals have the skills and knowledge to effectively manage and enhance security in Azure environments. The updates help equip Azure security engineers with the tools and knowledge to manage evolving security challenges while collaborating with architects, developers, and security operations teams.
