This is ****ing retarded.  Why on earth is it not enough to put the email in spam, label it dangerous and block links?  This is the  typical technocratic arrogance I can't stand.  Yes some people will fall for Nigerian prince scams but blocking emails entirely will cause far more people to miss out on important alerts.

Right now a major journal does not pass this arbitrary standard and there is nothing I can do about this and quite frankly this is would be catestrophic for me if my collaborator who uses gmail and was able to recieve this message had not forwarded this vital message to me.  No joke I will take a low risk of being hacked to resolve this issue.
