Some Q's if I may:
I'm not sure how many people have trodden this path in Production - what has the feedback been so far of those that have?
Has anyone looked at implementing this in relation to a Dynamics CRM system - as I'm wondering if we can "pick up" on the Opportunity codes that are generated by the Dynamics CRM and use that as potentially the "Master Key" (or SRN in your example) of what to look for regarding sensitive data in customers environments?
