Here are the steps to enable the banner with the label information in mac
Open any protected file and make sure to save the credentials.
Close the application using (command + Q). Make sure that the application is closed and not minimized.
Please go to preference plist file (“com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro.plist” for Acrobat and “com.adobe.Reader.plist” for reader ) in “~/Library/Preferences” folder. In this file under the DC section please create the registry as shown in the attached image.
Run the command “sudo defaults read <file path> in terminal”. Here file path is the full path of the above plist file. For eg on my machine the path is “/Users/absethi/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro.plist” for my machine.
Open the same plist file and make sure that you can see the new registry that you have created.
Open any protected file and the label should be visible now.
