Call me paranoid...I use the Edge "Suggest a password" option for run-of-the-mill sites, where I'm not too bothered. I have Privacy Badger installed everywhere, that removes a lot of the cruft, Edge itself stops a lot of the trackers.
For really important stuff, I use a different browser (Edge-Dev / Opera / Firefox), in InPrivate mode. I don't click out of the authenticated site in that browser instance. It requires a little discipline, those click bait ads are sooo smooth now.
I write my complex passwords down in a booklet (not indexed by site).
I've just received my UbiKey, so I'll start investigating that, it only deals with authentication, not web tracking, but we'll see. The big worry I have is: what if I lose the key / it breaks - will I still be able to authenticate via old-school methods?
