It’s just amazing going through the seamless registration processes and check-in experience with Verified Credentials at Entra AirLift event. I did try to influence my friends at the NIC conference:

To use DID and also how it could be used in a company building as the “access card” or even better the company card; making it even easier to allow access for also the Omni Channel, partners, employees, customers, suppliers, service workers and more; just like the CompanyID(entity) model I have referred to several times. The concepts Microsoft seems to build where the interests or focus are on the tenant (our customers) and the identity owner; not on a special interest to an IDP. In Norway we have BankID with interests to banks, VIPPS to even fewer banks, IDPorten to the public sector and Signicat, Buypass, Comfides, Produsent Registere and others in the private market. Those IDP’s including the social, IM and other cloud identities that can be used as “yet another MFA factor” or as we have shown in the B2C playground as “one true cloud identity” to several other IDP’s, also with different callbacks concepts and where we are not using the ledger to host/store more than the essential.
I just love how easy we in the future can let our decision makers and companies to no longer just manage companies on their faith, hope, love and the apparently history, but on actual incidents, events and observations including the support of AI/ML that facilitate a far better and safer decision-making world and future.
I have already discussed some of the challenges with several of your colleagues and participants here on the “happy hour”; this seems to be just the dream event where we’re not looking at the clouds but go beyond; take a glimpse of, learn and head for the (brightest) stars. What a thrilling event with the best of the best; THX in advance..
