MicrosoftThis is great timing as we have plans to migrate a lot of groups to Entra over the next year. 2 questions:
Are there roadmap plans to enable the SOA swap in the Entra ID group management UI instead of using graph?
Are there roadmap plans to eventually allow management of mail-enabled security groups and distribution groups in Entra ID? This is currently an organizational challenge for us as we have admins who manage groups in Entra who do not have access to Exchange Online.
MicrosoftHi Greg, we don't plan to offer a UX for SOA conversion, as it's designed for Admins during cloud migration and has necessary prerequisites. If demand increases, we'll revisit this. Documentation provides sample PowerShell scripts for bulk updates. For mail-enabled groups and DGs, please use Exchange Online—adding this to our roadmap isn't planned currently.
