SuperSub100 Thank you for your feedback. The ability to prevent non-admin users from disabling the client is a critical feature that will become generally available within the next 6 weeks. Based on customer feedback in preview, there are situations where there is a business need to allow for the suspension of the client, therefore, we’ve decided to retain it in the product, and we will evolve this feature in the following way:
- We will enable customers to prevent non-admin users from disabling the client and will give Microsoft Entra administrators ability to control whether they want to allow or disallow their end users (non-admin users) to pause or disable the client.
- For the scenarios where Microsoft Entra administrators choose to allow end users (non-admin users) to disable the client, we will add the ability to force re-authentication and record an audit event with business justification provided by such user, before disabling the client.
