Legal Agent and Legal Skills
We’re seeing Legal Agent available in Word under Frontier, but we haven’t been able to find corresponding controls in Agent Admin Center / Agent 365.
Given the nature of AI capabilities being used for legal-related scenarios, appropriate enterprise governance and administrative controls are particularly important. Organisations need visibility and control over how these capabilities are introduced and made available to users.
Could Microsoft please clarify:
For global organisations, clarity around geographic and jurisdictional applicability is particularly important given differences in legal requirements across countries.
Any guidance Microsoft can provide on the planned governance controls and roadmap would be appreciated.

grant_jenkins I can maybe shed some light on your last question. It was mentioned on the Microsoft Discovery Session: Microsoft Copilot in Word: Turn a blank page into a polished draft! webinar from Thursday that Legal Agent is being rolled out to General Availability from 15th October to December, although there was no information on which dates different geographies could expect to receive the GA release.
