thanks for this, very handy.

a question, I applied the KB5091379, been running for a few weeks but just now realised my Biztalk 2020 is CU5 (not CU6 or CU7)

I've run your Method 1 powershell and it's getting the expected result, BTSNTSvc, port 5671 State=Established

am I going to have to do a quick CU update between now and 30/9?  Prefer not unless I have to ...

Honestly, CU5 is out of support. Your scenario may work, but if you run into issues of any kind, and open a support case, the first think you will be told is to install CU6.
