This looks like something that will be amazing to use, and add a lot of value to AIS-based integrations.
I have a customer who runs a multi $m, multi-warehouse order consolidation and shipping business, using multiple Warehouse and Transport management systems, with many integration touch points (multiple integrated customers file-based, API-based, AS2-based integrations) etc. Using something like this to provide business-level visibility of the state of orders at the key touch points (e.g. received, scheduled, picked, shipped, delivered) would be amazing.
Having played around with the services to see how they work, though, the main issue I have is the lack of support for Consumption Logic Apps (some of the integrations are using Standard Logic Apps, but we are reluctant to go down this pathway due to the serious restrictions on the number of Logic Apps that can be deployed per App Service Plan in this model - the customer has something like 1,800 Consumption Logic Apps). I was hoping to work around this by using the support for Service Bus resources - but it looks like stages can only be tied to Standard Logic Apps, rather than (for example) a Service Bus Topic/Subscription.
Something we'd love to talk to you about if the above is an interesting use case!
Thanks,
Andrew
