This is an open source solution to support virtual rounding with Microsoft Teams. As healthcare providers look to expand the reach of clinicians at scale while limiting their exposure to possible contagions, the ability to deliver such a solution has become more critical than ever. On 3/23/20, Microsoft’s Max Fritz introduced a solution to this challenge: Virtual rounding in Microsoft Teams. Since that time, Max and colleagues have been working on a V2 iteration of the solution that provides additional capability and improvements. On 4/20/20, Max Fritz showed us the V2 iteration of this solution that takes advantage of the Microsoft Power Platform and better enables clinicians to scale their reach, minimize clinician potential exposure to contagions, and help conserve on personal protective equipment (PPE).
