Some audio drivers include custom audio processing in Audio Processing Objects (APOs.)

The monthly Driver Incident Grade report on https://devicepartner.microsoft.com/ includes, among other things, a list of audio user-mode incidents which result in a loss of audio.

The Windows audio team has identified a few bugs which, though fixed, are still widely deployed. We have created an ingestion check which looks for known-buggy versions  of specific APOs. If your driver is rejected due to this check, please pick up a fixed version of the APO binary in question from your audio IHV.
