I have just been told by a contact I have who works for Microsoft that Microsoft have recently discovered that Comodo isn’t issuing properly formed certificates
Assuming this is correct I have asked Sectigo/Comodo for a corrected EV Certificate and plan to add a new comment once I have more information
I also gather that the Type needs to be reported as EV rather than CodeSign. Given this I feel Microsoft should reject SignableFile.bin files that result in a Type of CodeSign (other than EV?) as they will not work and accepting them just causes confusion.
