Hi, srinipadala ,

 

I have another question regarding doing a non-vnet-injected migration with the option of 'New Virtual IP address'.  At what point during the migration from stv1 to stv2 does the Built-In/default gateway domain name DNS get updated with the new IP address?  Our Custom gateway domain name uses a CNAME to the Built-In/default gateway domain name. So if the default gateway domain name gets the new IP before I have a chance to add a firewall rule to allow access for the new IP to our back-end, we would have a downtime.  

 

It would be ideal if the Built-in/default gateway domain name DNS continues to point to the original IP until the migration is complete and I can obtain the new IP from the Portal and assign a new firewall rule.
