Microsoftsmccnn The status messages can change with the code. They are just strings, so I don't think we document all of them. WorkItemPickup is just the MRS job picking up the current task (work item), it is between operations. If you suspect this is stuck for too long in this state, you can check Durations in DiagnosticInfo (part 4 of the blog), sometimes it sits in this state due to being throttled.
