Please find my clarifications:
1) Are you saying that the goal in question is the ability to relay email from one Exchange on-prem. org, out/through several different EXO tenants?
Ans: Goal is to relay EXO emails through our SMTP server. Our server is not an Exchange On prem server.
Our flow is like this: 1) EXO user1 sends an email to user2 2) Email is routed to our SMTP server via mail flow rule 3) We perform some processing and relay email back to Exchange server 4) Exchange delivers to the end recipient(user2)
2)your 1 was worded as multiple EXO tenants sending TO your server, which is opposite direction to this whole topic.:
Ans: EXO tenants send it to our server using Outbound connector(Office 365 to Partner Org connector)
They also configure an Inbound Connector(Your org server to Office 365)- this is the one in issue since they user Your Org type here with ip address authentication.
