Hi Greg Taylor - EXCHANGE, I am trying to get my head straight regarding the timing of the "deprecation of the 25 least used APIs of EWS for Exchange Online...by March 31, 2022" and the removal of "the ability to register new apps in Azure with EWS permissions starting September 30, 2022. Apps registered before this date, any API not mentioned in this, or subsequent announcements, will not be impacted."
My interpretation of the 2 different statements above is that the 25 APIs will no longer be usable after 31st March but it will be possible to register new AAD apps using those APIs up until 30th September. I feel like I am mis-understanding something here because what is the point of being able to register a new AAD app that uses one of the 25 listed APIs, let's say on 1st April, when the EWS APIs were no longer usable from 31st March?
Are you able to clarify the relationship between the 2 different events and the timing of those 2 events please?
