Hi Mirela_Buru thanks for this great article, I am migrating several mailboxes from an IMAP provider to Office 365 and I am getting this weird error after the mailbox has reached the synced state and I can't find anything about it. The accounts are synced to on-prem AD.
Error: MigrationPermanentException: Unable to read from Active Directory. --> Unable to read from Active Directory. --> The requested search root 'LAMP152A002.PROD.OUTLOOK.COM/Microsoft Exchange Hosted Organizations/domain.onmicrosoft.com/User Name' is not within the scope of this operation. Cannot perform searches outside the scope 'LAMP152.PROD.OUTLOOK.COM'.
Following your article, I realized that the current status of one of the mailboxes in error is in progress, and there are no errors reported when I ran Get-SyncRequestStatistics command as described in the article. Can I safely ignore the errors? Why is this happening?
