Having recently been caught out by this enforcement, can I understand where the disconnect has occurred that has prevented the information available in https://admin.exchange.microsoft.com/#/reports/onpremunpatchedserverdetails from pushing through to the main 365 Admin Portal as an alert to global/other admins?
Unless you follow the Exchange team blogs, where have Microsoft publicised this breaking change? Where would a normal 365 admin have found out about this? Even in the Software Updates section of the 365 Admin Portal (https://admin.microsoft.com/#/softwareupdates) it doesn't indicate that the Exchange servers in need of updates will block mail flow unless they're updated.
This feels like such a major missed opportunity to communicate properly with busy customers, which is ironic for a product that is all about communication. I'd welcome an opportunity to discuss this feedback as I really am quite shocked and disappointed this breaking change was not properly communicated via the 365 admin portal despite the reports and data being there if you knew where to look.
