Step by step run of the Exchange Calendar Update Configuration Tool (MSExTMZCFG.EXE)
Site also killed my computer on IE6 - also switched to Firefox, noticed about 15% cpu utilization for it (compared to 100% for IE6).
The Possible issue I hit cost me a couple of hours (problem/fix below) - I wonder if this was in the update instructions, they should have been more clear about the location of the tzmove.exe. I did a search and copied it to my c: drive and was trying to run it from there without success for quite a while...
If you get a bunch of errors with a code of 0x80004005, there are a few things to check:
- Try to run the tool from the following location: C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice12Office Outlook Time Zone Data Update Tool
