Hello,
I see MSKB 930879 now recommends applying the Windows OS and MSKB 926666 after running the rebase tool due to OWA issues with recurring meetings. Since this is due to CDO, would the same apply for recurring meetings created in both Entourage and on Blackberry's/Good devices?
So if I am to read this now, is Microsoft now recommending:
1) Patch all clients and devices and all servers save Exchange systems and CDO related boxes.
2) Run Rebase tool (wait for version 3.0 that comes out next preferably which will fix resources too).
3) Patch Windows OS of Exchange systems
4) Apply MSKB 926666 on Exchange systems
Will the rebase tool eventually be able to understand and correctly move appointments that were setup before/after devices had their operating systems updated for DST? Otherwise unless you patch all devices in an hour, appointments will be moved incorrectly.
Can you also detail the exact problems for people who unfortunately rain these tools early including V1 of the Exchange Calendar update tools.
Lastly it'll be nice if the Exchange/Outlook calendar tools could actually send an email updating each user after it scans detailing what it updates.
thanks for listening Exchange team,
Larry
