You can send aliases from the following, however, you have to have some shared mailbox added for the drop-down to work. But even after adding a shared mailbox and the option becomes available for you to use your assigned aliases when you try to send from them you get the following error:
You don't have the right to send mail on behalf of the specified sending account. Please, verify you have the necessary permissions for the specified sending account.
This is the version we are using that we are having this trouble with below. It would be nice that a users aliases just show up in a drop-down list in the From field, without them having to do quirky tasks, like adding a null shared mailbox, to then enable the feature.
