I recognize there are still issues apparantly with Outlook for Windows. However, I wonder how the project is going as last update is June of last year. For our company, we see the potential for it as it would solve a lot of issues.
A short description: historically we have realised 6 customer support shared mailboxes - let's say named mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons to mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons
Due to the pandemic, work on several mailboxes became a regular thing, creating a lot of shared mailboxes, slowing down the systems incredibly.
We want to merge those into 1 mailbox thus cutting down the performance issues, naming is mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons having 6 folders in inbox to which all mail will go respectively (done that by rule, working perfectly)
First of, showing the default name of the email we have solved by hiding the default address in GAL. So every send e-mail shows in the respective folder as 1.cs etcetc.
However, what we need is the reply or forward function to have the alias showing up directly as well - like in the webversion. And of course, set up for each mail and not by user as they need to be able to switch from 1 to 2, to 3 etcetc without needing to adjust the send from box every time
