Folks, we just published a KB article that lays out all of the steps that one has to do to get the IIS Rewrite rule up and running as a workaround for Exchange 2016 / 2019 servers. Note that this does not work for Exchange 2013 redirect (the code there is different).

Note that the article literally just went live and there might be a slight delay until it is available for all but I just verified it as working.
