I had to recently create a new 2016 server to migrate all mailboxes to as the old server (still 2016) was having random database dismount issues.
The old server was CU22 but the new one was created with the CU23 image and has the latest May SU applied.
I am still getting Event ID 4999 in the application logs. Some days, I get maybe 1 or 2 log entries and other days, there are dozens through out the day.
I have the latest May SU applied and the server has been rebooted as well yet I am still seeing the 4999 errors in the logs.
Do I still have to run the /preparealldomains if this is the only Exchange server in the environment with 1 domain/forest?
Am I still seeing the errors in the logs because the /preparealldomains was not run?
