UPDATE: I restarted the server and ran the update again. this time it finished. However it did not change the services from DISABLED to AUTOMATIC so i had to guess. some of hte services did not start but I had to manually fix them. and now it is up and running again. whew. not bad for 3AM in the morning. I believe a Windows Update was trying to install the SU at the same time. SIGH.

Help. I tried to run the SU to my Exchange 2016 CU22. I tried to run the May 2022 SU. but I received a "File in Use" error listing :DHCP client
network list service
network location awareness
TCP/IP Netbois helper
Time Broker
Windows Event Log
WinHTTP Web Proxy autodiscovery service
I clicked "RETRY but same error. so I clicked exit. now my email server won't work. I can't connect to it. All the services were marked DISABLED by the update. so I changed them to AUTOMATIC and started them but still outlook cannot connect to exchange.
Any thoughts? I'm now down 😞
