You mentioned that the article states "we recommend that you leave the registry value as is until the issue is resolved by Microsoft."
That's not quite what it says. It says "If you run a mixed environment (co-existence of multiple Exchange Server versions, such as Exchange Server 2019 and 2016, or Exchange Server 2016 and 2013), we recommend that you leave the registry value as is until the issue is resolved by Microsoft." There's a significant difference between the two statements. So if you are not running a mixed environment, what is Microsofts recommendation ? Do something? Do nothing ? Just be confused by the wording of the article ?
I don't understand why after all of these years, almost every announcement of a CU/SU/bug has to be followed up by seemingly endless requests for Microsoft to clarify their articles and statements.
