I realize that a lot of people are still mitigating these vulnerabilities and dealing with the fallout, and that the Exchange team is probably putting in some serious overtime right now, which I appreciate, but a very important question needs to be asked.
In light of these vulnerabilities, will Microsoft be speeding up the development of the solution to give customers the ability to remove the last Exchange servers in a hybrid environment?
Whether the issue is Dirsync, Exchange, AD, Azure AD, or any other technology, 7 years is long enough to wait for a solution. Hybrid customers should not have been put into this precarious situation due to whatever the underlying reasons Microsoft had for not developing a solution for removing the last Exchange servers.
