YES, my good man, it certainly does!
You just lowered my blood pressure by a few points 🙂
I just joined techcommunity.microsoft.com and since I am already logged in as my live.com account in another tab for Skype, I was logged in using those credentials, and was taken to a page where I needed to create a profile, choose a profile name, etc.
My microsoft (live, what have you) account has my gmail account as my primary login name, and my profile in this community shows that gmail address correctly as my email address for the profile and for the microsoft account. I filled out the Personal information page next and put in my work information, including my non-office365 work email address.
Email notifications are turned on but I received not a single email from the blog, neither at setup of my profile nor when you replied with a mention of me here. Any idea where I should look ? I just happened to be refreshing this blog just after posting my comment or I would have missed your very helpful reply.
