The_Exchange_TeamNino_Bilic Hi Team. We've rolled out this security update over the last week across 4 unique Exchange 2016 environments and all 4 are now having an issue when trying to edit any DAG network settings (such as changing the name, adding/removing a subnet or enabling compression/encryption). The error is shown below:
"A server-wide administrative operation has failed. Operation failed with message: Error 0xe0434352 (Unknown error from cli_SetDagNetwork"
This prevents us changing any network settings on the DAG. I've isolated the problem down to it being the Jan 2022 security update by following this process:
Stood up new Exchange 2016 CU21 server in the existing org and created test DAG with this server as the only member.
Updated network settings without issue.
Upgraded to CU22.
Updated network settings without issue.
Applied January 2022 security update.
Not able to update network settings with error.
Uninstalled January 2022 security update.
Updated network settings without issue.
Applied November 2021 security update.
Updated network settings without issue.
Re-applied January 2022 update.
Now unable to update settings again.
Do you have any known issues other than those currently documented? As I said, I have this problem across 4 independent environments and I've also re-created in an external lab. I'm not seeing any events logged when this happens other than the generalised cmdlet failed error.
