Installed CU6 on server1 after install all contentIndex status are unknown. Started 8pm 12/09/14.
Using command: Get-MailboxDatabaseCopyStatus | Ft Name,contentindexstate, Contentindexerrormessage -Autosize
I get error for all of them: "Could not find registry value of Index Status for database"
So I checked and server1 has nothing in [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftExchangeServerv15SearchIndexStatus]
Antivirus is not active, restarting the services doe's not create keys, can not rebuild index. And even recreating the service does not create the keys.
Trying to fudge the keys from Server 2 on SP1 does not work, I modified to the correct DB SIDS and even tried leaving the key values blank. Can find no article in this area
So server 1 partially working but no index status, searching web I find nothing!
Server 2 stalls on install, server 1 took 45 mins to install, exact same server/hardware but at alternate site in same domain takes 3 hours on install and fails on the transport service. And I waited 1 hour before I started install for replication in the domain
to occur!
