MicrosoftEven though the known issue does not impact many of our customers, we wanted to avoid possibly breaking servers and requiring manual intervention, especially with the timing of this update (here we are, almost in mid-December).
Will you release it in the Update Catalog in January or will there be a new SU in January?
I understand, that you want to avoid issues so close to the Christmas holidays. But you announced that you only defer the release for autmatic updates due to the Thank Giving holidays. We trusted that it would be released in december. Now you´ve gotten us in trouble breaking your annoucement, because we have to either install it manually on such a high amount of servers or go into a fully untested SCCM deployment with a package we somehow have to funge in.

If you would have cleary communicated that it won´t be released via Update Catalog then we have had time to plan this special rollout better. But this way... ...very disappointing
Absolutely...
It is very hard for us to assess the risks that we do not apply and the risks that we do apply and then customize our deployment methods to address those risks as well. Here we are before the dreaded Christmas.
