Re: Introducing more control over Direct Send in Exchange Online

Thanks SeanMSFT. I have another question.

1. As I see this feature is in Public Preview, does Microsoft recommend to Disable RejectDirectSend or wait for GA.?

2. If I go ahead and enable this feature, and if mail flow impacted then send emails will be in queue to resend again or emails will be failed?

3. I am using Exchange Server SMTP Relay which sends email through Printers, devices to O365, can that be impacted?

    1. You can enable it. However, your environment is already protected, so not sure if it will make any difference.
    2. Depends on the sending party, however as it will produce 5XX error, I am almost certain that it will fail.
    3. Depends on if the sender addresses same as your accepted domain and if the email sent through an inbound connector.
