Hello everyone,
I have inherited a project which consists of migrating all the local emails of users who are on apple Mac to their microsoft exchange Online mailboxes.
For years, all these users had been moving their online emails to their iMac "on my mac" locally.
The client used is MacMail.
The size of the data varies between 8GB and 530GB.
The process I have set up is as follows:
1. Buy the Exchange P2 licence.
2. Activate the licence on the mailbox.
3. Stop the user to move his email into is "on my mac".
4. Get the Mac Mail Data
5. Convert the data into PST using macuncle Converter
6. Split the PST into 10-20 GB using Macuncle Splliter
7. Upload the data into the Microsoft Blob
8. Start the migration process using the AZ copy Network Upload
9. Change the MacMail client to Outlook Mac version for the user that have the migration done into their online Archive Mailbox. Macmail doesn't connect to online archive mailbox (nor sharedmailbox).
It worked fine until I reached the 100GB limit for the archive box.
How can I send archives that are between 100 and 530 GB in size to their respectives online archives ?
What process should I use in detail?
For example, I want to send 325GB of a splitted PST in 20GB parts to the online archive.
I need to activate the auto-expand but :
Do I have first to upload 100GB and then wait 30days for the auto-expand to be active and then send (periodically?) 10GB of data each days ?
Does someone had a similar project ? Upload emails data bigger than 100GB into one Exchange online mailbox (not a split between main Mailbox and archive mailbox).
Thank you for your help.
Have a nice day!
