FYI, per Microsoft Exchange support, as of 2025-11-04, I am being told that the ".microsoft" URL is not recommended at this time due to issues performing various operations (such as managing DLs) and instead we should be using the ".com" URL or the equivalent PowerShell cmdlets until the issue is resolved. No word yet on the timeline for when they'll want us to begin using the ".microsoft" URL again. IMO, this really needs to be announced publicly, particularly since it's a known issue that contradicts both this blog and the documentation.
