New security feature in September 2021 Cumulative Update for Exchange Server
Hello Exchange Server Team, Nino_Bilic,
I have one question regarding the emergency mitigations (EMs) actions and the (order) of removal after patch releasement for instance. It's clear to me that an EM action can be removed and about how to re-apply an EM. However, when is an EM obsolete, for instance after patch release. To make it more clear.
You have an Exchange 2019 CU11 Server, EM1, EM2 and EM3 are applied during the weeks. Microsoft releases a patch that fixes EM1 and EM3 and these are absolete. You have to manually remove those 2 EMs. Will the system know, after the patch that those to EMs (1 and 3) don't have to get re-applied again? Will it be published when an EM is obolete in a specific KB?
This is not clear to me from the documentation.
