Hi,
I am doing a cross forest e2k3 to e2k10 remotelegacy mailbox move project. I am getting inconsistent results after the mailbox move completes with regard to how long it takes until the mb becomes readily available. There is a background process run by system attendant that needs to run before the migrated mb can be accessed (my target e2k10 servers have multiple dbs and are in a DAG) There is a forum post that supposedly has the fix-but its not really a fix since we have 8 databases and want to move mailbox to each of the 8 during each batch processing and dont want to wait a few hours. here is the post:http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchange2010/thread/2b6fb514-34c8-488a-be4d-60c58ddd4a5a
Can someone who has the insight explain what is really going on in the background process- and is there anyway to force it after the move request is 100% complete to speed up db access?
