I can see a bigger picture here and I guess I'm not the only one. For me it looks like new OS and server products are not primarily developed for customers (like it used to be) but for Microsoft itself because they can run their services in the cloud. In the long run Microsoft's plan (IMO) is to get customers away from on-premises environments to the cloud a little by little. This TMG episode is just a small chapter in bigger story. Exchange team just has to explain something to the customers (It's just teams bad luck that TMG is primarily used for Exchange services). There may come a time when Exchange and many others products are available only in the cloud. I guess Microsoft has put so much effort and money to the cloud business that they forgot partners and customers. Or even worse, they don't even care. But hey - it's only me and I really hope I am wrong with all this.
